A&A the shop is most awesome, yet unfortunately my Subaru is not!Through out the last 8 years or so Ive had much help from them with the great repair service they provide and big knowledge of Subaru vehicles. Dexter and the whole staff. Are friendly & courteous people!I was around few times in the earliest days of the once tiny shop’s beginnings sometime in the mid 90’s if I'm correct with my time line. Ive seen them grow & expand into a very awesome shop! Kudos! I would & will go nowhere else to get help & care with any Subaru(s) i own & have owned!

These folks are always so personal, and do their work professionally every time! Whether I stop in for a few minutes to ask about a problem, have a simple fix, or have to leave car there for several days, the service is always excellent. Over the years, I’ve done a lot of comparison between their work and the Subie desler, and they have always been the best. On top of that, their prices were significantly less. Trust them!
Was able to schedule my car within a few days. The gentlemen at the counter were professional and friendly. Some of the service cost are cheaper than Subaru Continental. The work was done on time. I will definitely take my Subaru back there.
Fast and timely service. I got my rear brakes and rotors replaced on my Subaru forester, and they said it would take about 2.5 hours. It only took about 2. While the price was high, they had sooner availability than Subaru Continental. As most Alaskans know, functioning brakes are critical in the winter, so I needed to get the issue fixed sooner than later. Subaru Continental quoted me at about $550 to do the work, but the earliest appointment was a month out. A&A quoted me at $850, but could take the appointment within 2 weeks.The service I had was friendly and professional. I will definitely be returning here in the future, and will recommend this shop to friends.
I had to have my sparkplug replaced and the valve gasket cover replaced, A&A The Shop was able to get my car in for repairs quickly. The staff was very polite and professional. I'll be bringing my car back for future repairs and maintenance.
I have to say they lived up to their reputation around town. I am a mechanic. And all my mechanic friends told me that A&A was the only place to go if you own a subaru. Well, I'm impressed. And, being a mechanic, I'm usually a little critical of repair shops. But these guys are first class. My daughter's Subaru clutch throwout bearing went out. So it required a full clutch job. The staff is professional. The mechanics are good. But most importantly they were honest with me. The pricing was fair. The turnaround on the car was incredible. But most importantly little things that you notice. Like they didn't try to upsell me on something I didn't need. I asked them if the standard OEM equipment was sufficient or if I needed to upgrade anything. They told me that the standard OEM is just fine. I gave them an open book to add any other parts they wanted to in case they found something else wrong when they got inside. That was after a feeling them out and feeling they were and honest shop. Guess what? No added parts. They just did the clutch job with standard OEM equipment for the price they said they were going to and the thing was ready the next day. It is pretty easy to develop a loyal following. Just do good work and be honest with your customers. They are all of this. As a mechanic I get tired of working on my own stuff and many times wish I could find a good shop to outsource to. Well, this is my shop. I own six vehicles, 11 snow machines, and five four wheelers. So I'm always working on something. I might trade a couple of my vehicles out for a couple more Subarus and just let A&A do all my maintenance. I don't mind paying to have the work done as long as someone will do the job for a fair price. I feel like these guys are both of that. And I'm impressed with Subarus product as well. Thank you for a job well done!
Gave the shop a call and was able to get my car in for work just before the holidays. Dexter worked on my car and had everything I needed taken care of within a few hours. Really great experience and everything is running smooth. Guys at the front desk were personable and walked me through the pricing. Will be back for future repairs/maintenance.
I called A&A the shop looking for immediate service and they accommodated my request. I live out of town in Seward and was referred to by a friend from Anchorage. I was very happy with the work I had done and will always go back! Very friendly and helpful for Subaru owners and Toyota! TY!

Great atmosphere, great price, great people! Best AK shop I've found in 12 years! They're awesome! Was going for 5 stars but they gave me conventional oil in my turbocharged car. I always run synthetic since I've had it. I didn't mention it so it's on me too, I'm just accustomed to being asked. Regular or synthetic?
When Check Engine and 2 other lights came on during busy tire change over Saturday they squeezed me in between appointments. The situation was critical and parts were ordered and repairs completed same day. Professional service. Would highly recommend them
I started coming here because the regular subaru dealership really got under my skin (I made an appointment and only found out the day of that for them an appointment means sometime in the next 1-2 business days also no rental vehicles or transportation). A&A has far exceeded my expectations in this regard. They have a shuttle if needed and staff are always helpful! As long as I have my subaru I will stick with these guys!
Dexter was very pleasant fellow while I was there for an oil change and inspection. They didn't find anything wrong and the only thing he suggested (other than get major maintenance at 30k miles) is to just drive it more. I'm certainly going to get my next maintenance and repairs here.
