I must say, when I brought my son’s Subaru Forester into the Eagle River shop I was already feeling pretty confident that the job to be done would turn out positive. Carefully reading prior reviews my confidence grew. Dave and his crew were very professional, honest and courteous when they diagnosed the mechanical issues that needed to be repaired. In a timely fashion parts were ordered and the job scheduled. I was visiting Alaska and in town on limited time. Dave was very accommodating and committed to seeing that the job got done. The final bill was priced fair and I truly appreciated that what needed to be fixed was done, no hidden surprises or cost. Tried and true. I left as a HAPPY customer and wish to thank all the fellas at the A&A, The Shop in Eagle River, AK.
They did my repairs in a day and for great price. Super happy and highly recommended. I have yet to find another repair shop in Anchorage that can come close to this kind of service.
Very pleased with my experience. Much better than my experience trying to work with the local dealer. They took the time to source the parts from out of state to help save me some money. They weren't super proactive with their communication, but they were good to work with, and I will definitely be using them again.
My family has been trusting A&A The Shop for years with our cars. They are nothing but the absolute gold standard best. Quality work, knowledgeable, trustworthy, honest, helpful, pleasant, never impatient, great communication! We'd NEVER consider going anywhere else. If buying a new auto that they don't service, we'd adjust our choices to stay with them. We'd travel or buy outside and ship up to stay with them! I got my winter tires changed and balanced and the work was done in an expedient manner. They also have a shuttle service, which is very convenient if you work. I feel they are very fair in their prices too. I highly recommend them.
Once again, I was very impressed with their professionalism and the quality of work. I brought in my 2001 Toyota RAV 4 that was leaking oil on the engine block. They did a full inspection and let me know what really needed to be done now, and some other things I might want to consider in the future. No hard sell. Just good info. They were able to what what I needed, cleaned the engine up, and it’s running great. I’ll continue to use them again as it’s nice to work with knowledgeable people I can trust.
Brought my truck in with what I thought might be a long and expensive fix. Very suprised when they called just a few hours later saying it was ready to be picked up. I appreciate the honest, fast, and great service! Shawn at the front desk was very helpful and nice!Will definitely be back

I love the ease of Sked on line and the ability to text status and request changes. On top of that, they’re always friendly, on time and quick! The waiting room is clean and well lit too. So thankful our friend recommended them!! (Reason enough to buy another Toyota or Subaru, when you have a MX team you can trust!!). They’ve even taught me about settings that make my vehicle more efficient and they fixed all the the things the Toyota Dealership messed up!
I was impressed with Aaron’s professionalism, attention to detail, and willingness to thoroughly explain the potential issues at the very first diagnostic visit. He did a thorough examination of my Crosstrek and not only pinpointed the current problem but detailed possible future issues that should be monitored. He showed me detailed diagrams on the computer and gave me a printout setting out everything he had discussed. At the second visit, he repaired the current issues (which could have caused a damaged transmission if not repaired), and the repair was promptly done and reasonably priced. A&A in Eagle River is now my Go To repair shop for my Subaru.
